Word of Mouth…

@Dirty Snowflake has once said that Plurk sometimes feels like a prim little tea party most of the time.

In some ways that is true. What I imagine is women sitting around in their conservative frilly dresses, giggling and gossiping over tea and sandwiches. I for one never really had a close girlfriend, I have had female friends, and acquaintances in the past, no one really close that you could share your deepest secrets with.

The Women I have met on Plurk are feisty, independent, and strong willed.  I believe that is what makes them sexy.  They make you laugh till your ribs hurt.    They are also funny and down to earth.  They are in a sense real and they don’t put up false pretenses.

It has cliques like any other social networking site.  You have your geeks, your populars, and your outcasts.  Like characters out of a novel, they each have their distinct personalities.   It feeds into my imagination and enliven it.  I have learned and opened my eyes to different experiences through other women.  I have learned several things from them. Its my salvation. It has become my outlet to vent my thoughts and feelings.

Models Submission Details

Hello and Thanks for your interest in Women Of Plurk!!

I am so happy to welcome all of you. We are looking at publishing this for 2010 which isn’t that far away. We have SOOO much to do still.

The audition process is relatively painless. All we need is two photographs from each applicant (a close-up and a full body shot) accompanied by a short blurb on why you want to represent Plurk to the world! Also, give me some idea of what month you’d be interested in doing and what you see your set looking like. I’d like to be as accommodating as possible and wouldn’t want to put a hot little Goth girl in a teddy surrounded by candy… but actually that might work!! So if you have an idea share it and I’ll see what I can do.

Also, please spread the word. If you know any PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHERS who you either have worked with in the past or who would like to be involved in shooting your set-up let me know. I’d like to see their work and get that ball rolling as well.

We are also looking for women to write blog entries for the website.

These posts will be from the point of view of an adorable, smart, and sexy woman (Just like you) blogging about everything PLURK. …

So please if you want to write an entry send it in to me here with a short biography and I’ll start uploading next week.
